On February 12, 2026, a business breakfast entitled “The Potential of Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation in the Unmanned Systems Sector” was held at the Polish Embassy in Kyiv, organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency – Foreign Trade Office in Kyiv, the Polish Embassy, and the Ministry of Development and Technology. Justyna Siekierczak, Vice President of the Management Board of the Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems, delivered a presentation to the Ukrainian side on the Polish UAV market and the opportunities for mutual cooperation in this sector.

The meeting was part of the implementation of the letter of intent on joint production of weapons and ammunition, signed on February 5 in Kyiv by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and President Volodymyr Zelensky. It brought together representatives of public administration, business support institutions, and numerous Ukrainian companies from the defense sector, confirming their strong interest in cooperation in the area of dual-use technologies.

During the business breakfast, Justyna Siekierczak presented the potential of the Polish Chamber of Unmanned Systems (PISB), emphasizing the Chamber’s key role in the integration and professionalization of the domestic drone sector. PISB brings together not only manufacturers but also companies providing drone services, training centers, peripheral software developers, distributors operating in Poland and abroad, and companies building drone infrastructure and u-space solutions.

The Polish drone industry demonstrated its maturity in both civilian and commercial applications. Unmanned systems are implemented and effectively used in Poland, including surveying, construction, agriculture, air quality monitoring, facade cleaning, security, rescue operations, and the operational work of uniformed services. This provides a broad area for the exchange of experiences and best practices between our countries.

The numerous and active participation of prominent entrepreneurs in the Ukrainian drone industry was a pleasant surprise. This heralds very interesting projects and specific partnerships in which PISB will be actively involved.

The meeting confirmed the readiness of Polish entities to develop long-term partnerships with Ukraine and to jointly implement advanced technological projects.
