The regulation on insurance for UAS operators has already been published.

On October 28, 2025, the Regulation of the Minister of Finance and Economy of October 24, 2025, on mandatory third-party liability insurance for unmanned aircraft system operators, was published in the Journal of Laws.

The regulation is available for download on the Journal of Laws website and is just one page long.

The insurance obligation for operators using UAVs weighing more than 250 g comes into effect on November 13, 2025, and the minimum liability insurance coverage for an insurance period of no more than 12 months has been set at 50,000 SDR.

The liability insurance obligation for UAV system operators arises no later than the day preceding the commencement of operations using the UAV.
